The academy offers professional coaching focusing on skill development and technical aspects of the game using the Game Intelligence Approach to coaching football at all levels
Optimal development for modern football depends not only on physical, technical and tactical elements, but more importantly on deeper understanding and reading of the game and better decision making!
Game intelligence consists of 4 phases, which must be trained from the earliest ages – perception, understanding, decision making and execution.
The Game Intelligence Approach is the first building block in an optimal development model. It ensures that football starts in the head and finishes with the feet, not the other way around.

Players develop at different ages and stages. HFA offers a program to suit all players – from beginners through to those accepted into the high performance program.

Holiday Camp

9am to 12.00pm each day (Age 7-12)

Our three day camp covers all areas of the game, designed for players to engage, enjoy and aspire.
The camp offers players the opportunity to express their football skills as well as learn more through individual ball mastery and game based exercises.
Players will be immersed in technical challenges, focusing on individual development and team work.
Every Holiday Camp we hold will be filled with different training objectives and technical challenges to provide continue development for each player.
Development
Starting Monday 14th October 2024 (Last Session 16th Dec)
05.30 – 6.30pm (Age 7-10) / 6.35 – 7.35pm (Age 11-13) weekly (every Monday) for 10 weeks (Age 7-13)

The development squad is ideal for those wanting extra sessions on top of their club commitments, or more importantly keep training and improving your ability level while in the off season.
The training sessions aim to build confidence with plenty of touches of the ball and will be heavily focussed on improving the players technical ability and deeper understanding and reading of the game and better decision making.
We teach fundamental skills in the context of the game including flexible dribbling, 1v1s/2v2s/3v3s attacking & defending, ball receiving, correct techniques of striking the ball and much more.
